“Piazza del Campo” (the main square) dominates the historic center.

Siena and its Province offer an excellent production of wines, including Chianti Classico; Chianti Colli Senesi; Vernaccia di San Gimignano; Brunello di Montalcino; and the Vino Nobile di Montepulciano.
